She is a National Board Certified Teacher of Mathematics for Adolescents and Young Adults. Donna has earned a Master of Education degree in Advanced Teaching from the University of the People. She holds a BA in Mathematics and a BA in Native American Studies from the University of California, Davis. Donna has 18 years of teaching Mathematics at the secondary level. She is currently teaching in Santa Rosa, CA. Her purpose is to inspire students to enjoy Mathematics and pursue STEM. Donna is a Sequoyah Fellow with the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. Donna is also a Co-Director of the Alliance of Indigenous Math Circles which promotes engaging mathematics for equity and enjoyment.
