Online Courses
We offer two online courses for educators: Mathematical Mindsets and How to Learn Math for Teachers. Both courses are self-paced and available now for online enrollment.
Mathematical Mindsets unpacks the teaching approach that was used in an 18-lesson intervention that raised the achievement of students by the equivalent of 2.4 years of school. How to Learn Math for Teachers is Jo Boaler’s groundbreaking online course that was fully re-recorded and updated in 2016.

We host two types of face-to-face learning opportunities for educators: Mathematics Leadership Summits and Professional Development Workshops.
Both are 2-day sessions at Stanford led by Jo Boaler and the youcubed team. Summits focus on leading mindset and mathematics change in schools, districts, counties and beyond. Workshops focus on exploring content and the pedagogy that promotes a growth mindset.

We encourage group enrollments in our online and onsite courses because…
- Groups that participate in courses together and discuss the ideas as a team increase their learning and effectiveness
- Group enrollment reduces the registration time for each participant– each team member simply receives an email with instructions for logging in (online) or checking in (onsite)
- Centralized billing allows one payment from the school or district to cover tuition for the whole team
